Discover the Adelaide Hills. There are more than 30 cellar doors, hidden amongst vineyards and fruit orchards. The cool climate and good rainfall makes it perfect for producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.

Relax by the open fireplace or outside on the deck at Petaluma's Bridgewater Mill. Try a pre luncheon tasting or wine while you dine in the restaurant.
See the wild side of wine at Sinclair's Gully. This is the Adelaide Hills only eco certified winery. Watch black cockatoos fly overhead, while you enjoy a twilight tasting.

You'll find K1 by Geoff Hardy winery near Kuitpo forest. K1 produces a range of wine, from Shiraz and Semillon/Viognier, to the rare Arneis. Many regard K1 as one of Australia's leading cellar doors, due to its natural beauty and outstanding wines.

Hahndorf Hill specialises in food friendly wine, including Grüner Veltliner and Blaufränkisch. Sample the world's most luxurious chocolate on the ChocoVino Experience.

The Lane is a great choice for lunch and single vineyard wines. With European influenced cuisine, the restaurant is popular, so book ahead.

Visit Bird in Hand's cellar door at Woodside. Sample olives, olive oiin the tasting room. Groups will like the range of food platters available. Choose from cheeses, cured meats, organic greens and more. Finish it off with chocolate toffee brownies.

Relax with a glass of wine at Longview. The view is spectacular, with vine-covered hills stretching to the horizon. The vineyard produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Nebbiolo, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Chardonnay.

Indulge in a regional cheese platter, while sampling Nepenthe's Tempranillo, Savagnin and Late Harvest Riesling. Nepenthe sells vintage wines, exclusive to its cellar door. Visit Nepenthe on a Sunday, for an afternoon of food, wine and music.

Chain of Ponds Wines offers beautiful views, a café and balcony restaurant. Spend a day tasting the wines and stay overnight at the stone cottage.

During January, most cellar doors participate in the CRUSH festival. It's an annual celebration of Adelaide Hills' food and wine. Make the most of the entertainment and special offers.
