Golding Wines is a small and dynamic family owned winery situated at Lenswood, high in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of South Australia. The family vineyard was established by Darren Golding, together with his parents, Connie and Greg, in 1995. In 2002, Darren and wife Lucy launched the first Golding Wines vintage.

The Lenswood region is traditionally known for its top grade apple orchards. A local fruit merchant, Greg was well acquainted with the area and realised the potential of the region for growing premium quality grapes - free draining soils, mild summer days, cool crisp nights and plenty of rainfall.

The family property now includes over 50 acres of vines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Savagnin varieties. Over the years, they have supplied fruit to some of Australia's most recognised wine brands - Hardy's, Tatachilla, Petaluma and Yalumba.

Today, their passion is the creation of premium cool climate wines that genuinely break new ground. The majority of their range is made with only the most outstanding hand selected fruit from their own vineyards, providing a captivating reflection of the region's unique character.

Cellar Door is open 7 days, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Come on up to sample Sauvignon Blanc from both right here in the Adelaide Hills and New Zealand, plus an interesting blend of the two. Enjoy a cheese platter on the lawns, overlooking the vines that grew the fruit in their Adelaide Hills wines. On cooler days, they will have the fire going in The Barn, where there are plenty of cosy nooks to sit and relax.
