Eden Valley Wines is a group effort produced by a team of 12 grapegrowers and winemakers in the Eden Valley, South Australia.
The men, women and families who stand behind Eden Valley Wines are successful grapegrowers and winemakers in their own right, known as the 'Saviours'.
They are passionate about the elegant and delicate qualities of their wines and aim to make the Eden Valley Wines label the region's standard-bearer.
The guiding principle of the 12 grapegrowers and winemakers who have revived Eden Valley Wines is that wine crafted for this label will be made only from super-premium parcels of members' fruit. These parcels will display the best possible characteristics of the Eden Valley.
Eden Valley Wines Riesling can be relied on to show intense fruit and fine acidity, and to finish long and crisp. And Eden Valley Wines Shiraz displays ripe black berry fruit characters and peppery touches, with a dash of new oak.
By producing these wines, “The Saviours” and theirfamilies have shown their commitment to maintaining the integrity of winemaking in one of Australia's great wine regions.
