Due to its huge success last year with over 250 visitors, Brand’s Laira Coonawarra is once again paying homage to Cabernet Sauvignons French origins. Hearty French inspired fare will be served alongside an exciting vertical tasting in Cellar Door during the Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations on Saturday, 15th October.
Visitors will be treated to a vertical tasting of Brand’s Laira Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon from the late 1990’s to the early 2000’s in Cellar Door on Saturday from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The tasting will be complimentary and will be hosted by our winemakers Peter Weinberg and Scott Colbert giving visitors a great insight into the wines in an informative but informal and enjoyable format. This is a rare and unique opportunity to try thesely regarded and awarded wines and is not to be missed.
Renowned local chef Michelle Foster will be busy serving up hearty Beef Bourguignon and Chicken Cassoulet with fresh crusty bread in the surrounds or Eric Brand’s private cellar from 12.00 noon – 3.00pm on Saturday. Brand’s Laira Coonawarra wines by the glass will also be available and are perfectly paired with the French style cuisine.
Large groups or buses are asked to make bookings in advance.
