In 2006 Winemaker Greg Clayfield joined Zema Estate bringing with him an impressive 29 year track record in winemaking and winery management including numerous wine show accolades and the winner of the 1988 International Winemaker of the Year.
“Prior to working at Zema Estate I had been an admirer of the family's approach to viticulture, the degree of care for their vines and the consistent quality of wine produced. My goal is to maintain this consistency with a hint of flair focusing on varietal definition and regional expression.” Greg Clayfield
Join Greg for an informal but informative twilight tasting of our new releases in Cellar Door including the 2005 Family Selection Cabernet Sauvignon which was voted wine of the year by Max Crus. Tastings and nibbles provided free of charge and everyone is very welcome.
