Situated on the beautiful harbour of Boston Bay, Port Lincoln, South Australia, Boston Bay Wines produces a premium range of superb red and great white wines.
This picturesque vineyard and cellar door was established in 1984 by Graham and Mary Ford who were inspired by the French explorer, Captain Nicholas Baudin and his cartographer Citizen Freycinet who were so impressed by this spectacular peninsula that they named it Port Champagny believing its slopes would one day produce wines worthy of such a name.
Constantly brushed by the moist, cool air of the Great Southern Ocean, this isolated wine outpost now grows premium riesling, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and shiraz grapes of profound quality, producing wine as vital, fresh and clean as the sea which laps at the vineyard's edge.
Good soil, a gentle climate, the meticulous attention of expert winemakers: add a unique location and the result is truly special wine.
