Bleasdale is owned and operated by fifth generation members of the Potts family, and is located in the picturesque Langhorne Creek Region of South Australia.
The winery, founded in 1850, has been classified by the National Trust and is listed on the State and National Heritage Registers.
The cellars, constructed from red gum and limestone, house the old red gum vats and some of the equipment used by previous generations. The splendid red gum lever press, hand-sawn in the 1890's, is well worth a look.
Visiting wine enthusiasts are welcome to taste the wide range of wines while browsing over the old photographs and paintings and enjoying the ambience of the tasting shed. Open daily from 10am to 5pm.
