The establishment of Daylily Garden commenced in the mid 1950's with the planting of the more significant trees, such as Canadian Redwoods, Copper Beech, Pecan, Maple and Liquidambar. This then paved the way for mass planting of Daylilies, Camellias and Rhododendrons. Meandering paths take the visitor on a journey of discovery, this tour includes features such as ponds, formal rose garden (with displays of David Austin varieties), hedges, ferns and rolling lawns. Daylily garden is a perfect setting for photographs, picnics, tours or quiet reflection. This garden has been designed for year round enjoyment.
Our garden is open to the public for a small fee. A beautiful garden, picnic spots, barbecue facilities, unlimited tea and coffee are included in the entry fee. Plant sales are also available.
