The best wakeboarders in the country are gearing up for some awesome competition in Renmark to battle it out for the title of Australia's National Champion!
Wakeboard Australia is set to host 2009 Ocean and Earth Australian National Championships on the Murray River, Renmark, South Australia. The big event day of Finals will take place on 21 March, with preliminary rounds taking place during the week from 18 March to 20 March.
The Australian Wakeboard Nationals have been the core of Australian Wakeboarding competitions since the beginnings of Wakeboarding in Australia in the late 1990s. Wakeboard Australia has played an intricate role in the development of the sport in this country through harnessing the best riders; through its state base series, coaching clinics, development days, judging seminars and events which has proven to develop a healthy sport with some of the best riders in the world.
