Paxton cellar door allows visitors to taste and buy premium Paxton biodynamic wines in the historic setting of the original Landcross Farm. Settled in the 1840s, Paxton's Landcross Farm is a significant historic site in the region. The farm is dotted with buildings dating back to 1849 - including the original limestone and pug house, blacksmith shop and quarters, and shearing shed, which now houses the Paxton cellar door. Visitors can enjoy a glass of wine with some cheese on the deck (where the sheep yards were) while enjoying a spectacular view of the Willunga hills and parts of McLaren Vale.
Wander down to the blacksmith's shop to learn about the biodynamic process used on the property.
