You'll find Tenafeate Creek Wines in the historic district of One Tree Hill, just 40 minutes north of Adelaide, between the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley. Visit the cellar door, one of the most picturesque in the region, with long sweeping views across Humbug Scrub and the valleys beyond.
Tenafeate Creek Wines sit within a unique micro-climate reminiscent of the Mediterranean, with cool wet winters and long temperate summers. These are ideal conditions for the creation of powerful fruit-driven wines, including the classic Italian varieties of Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. Most of the wines are made using a traditional basket press method, a lower yielding method, which extracts the best of the fruit, without the tannins.
