The Thachi Wines Company purchased the Tandou facility in Monash, South Australia and was then established as Thachi Wines Pty Limited in July 2007.
The winery was renamed Thachi, an Aboriginal word for sand goanna, giving the new company a distinctly Australian theme.
Today the winery is an up to date facility in a country recognised for technological innovation. It's hi-tech advantages use traditional methods along with the expertise of our winemakers Stuart Auld and John Lempens. Resulting in wines of consistent character and exceptional quality.
Thachi Wines, envisage different styles of wine for different occasions that are food friendly and access different customer markets with different price points. The Thachi Wines include Broken Earth - the Selection, South Bay and Red Skies ranges.
