Ashton Hills Vineyard lies just below the summit of Mount Lofty on a ridge top overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. Located on Tregarthen Road the Ashton Hills Vineyard was established in 1982 and specialises in both dry red and white table wines and red and white sparkling wines derived from Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Riesling and Chardonnay grapes. Their wines reflect the regions cool and humid climate and have fine flavours with a lingering finish. The cellar door opened in 1991 and also offers a second label, Galah wine.
The Cellar Door at Tregarthen Road is open weekends and Public Holidays for tastings and sales between 11am and 5.30pm.
