Casa Freschi's Langhorne Creek Vineyard is located in Strathalbyn, in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. Contact them in Summertown, in the Adelaide Hills.

Established in 1998, Casa Freschi is a small, quality focused vigneron who own and operate two vineyards, a mature 4.5 Ha red vineyard in Langhorne Creek and a more recently established 3.2 Ha white vineyard in the central Adelaide Hills of South Australia. Our aim is to consistently produce a collection of Australia's finest single vineyard wines. All wines are grown, made, bottled and matured in-house. Their philosophy is to grow, in harmony with nature, the highest quality and most interesting wines possible from each vineyard, whilst expressing each in their purest form.

Apart from the 10 Ha of natural pristine bush-land, orchard and market-gardens had been cultivated on the property by the Moulds family since the 1850's, who supplied Adelaide's East End markets only 15 km away. The Langhorne Creek site possesses two steep, north-facing amphitheatres, both with well-drained rocky soils comprising of a mosaic of shale, quartz, sandstone, ironstone and silt. The mean average growing season temperature of 15.6C is comparable to that of Burgundy and Alsace in France. The high annual rainfall of 42 inches (1050mm) allows the vineyard to be dry grown.
