In 1993 Peter, an Optometrist and Sharyn, a Midwife bought 25 acres of land at historic Seppeltsfield in the Barossa Valley.
They planned to establish a vineyard where vines had first been planted in the mid 1800s and renovate the adjacent early settlers cottage as an exclusive vineyard retreat for two.10 acres of vines were planted in 1999 and our journey into the amazing world of viticulture had begun.

Winner of 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 South Australian Tourism Awards, the cottage offers authentic 1860s heritage features seamlessly combined with modern luxuries such as a Bose entertainment system, espresso coffee machine and free wireless broadband internet access. A king bed and crisp white linen is complemented by the luxury ensuite bathroom....double shower, underfloor heating, Bose Wave CD/radio & iPod Docking station, Molton Brown products and deep rainwater bath with vineyard views through expansive french doors.
Owners Sharyn and Peter live nearby on the property and can offer their local knowledge to help you enjoy the food, wine, history and sights of the Barossa. As successful wine producers we can offer a very personalised Barossa wine experience.
