Based in South Australia's picturesque Riverland district, Salena Estate have the benefit of perfect weather conditions that allow them to craft wines of exceptional fruit flavour and varietal definition. These wines are packaged in a contemporary fashion that reflects the Salena Estate casual lifestyle, then shipped to markets right around the globe.
At Salena Estate, they firmly believe in the old winemaker's maxim that 'the making of good wine starts in the vineyard'. To achieve consistently high quality fruit, the latest pruning, canopy management and other vineyard practises are undertaken to ensure the best possible varietal expression in the harvest.
The Salena Estate vineyard plantings are of fairly significant size, at 208 hectares (520 acres). Varieties grown include Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Chardonnay, Colombard, Semillon and Riesling.
