The Race Face Melrose Fat Tyre Festival celebrates a long weekend of single track mountain bike riding in the beautiful Southern Flinders Ranges. Rides vary from double black diamond epic five hour circumnavigation of the local hills to an easy tour through the streets of Melrose stopping at a local coffee shop. Each ride is graded and led by a knowledgeable local.
The friendly atmosphere is enhanced by skill sessions, a clunker criterion (dress up the daggiest bike you can find for a hilarious competition in the main street), two lovely country pubs and coffee shops, music sessions around the campfire and a chance to share the spills and thrills party. Don't miss the international superstars Sweet Baby James and Rob Eyres playing on Saturday night.
