If you are visiting McLaren Vale, South Australia then Goodieson Brewery is a 'must visit' venue. The brewery is family owned and uses their amazing location to full potential.
Sit and take in the relaxing country atmosphere whilst enjoying a deliciously cold Goodieson brew and gazing at the amazing views of the surrounding vineyards and the hills.
The brewery is owned and run by Jeff and Mary Goodieson and you will always find them in the brewery. Currently they are brewing a Pilsner and a Pale Ale and late 2010 will add a Wheat beer followed by a Stout in Winter 2011.
The brewery is rustic and informal, where you are welcome to walk amongst the brewing vessels, smell the smells created during the brewing process and have Jeff Goodieson answer any brewing question you might have. There is not much he doesn't know about brewing and what goes on between barley and beer.
