919 Wines is committed to the production of unique wines of great intensity and depth of flavour, which express varietal and regional character. Grown in the heart of the Riverland of South Australia from varieties especially suited to the climate, these wines are produced from low yielding vines. Traditional winemaking methods and artistry are blended to create concentrated wines of exceptional quality.
Owners Eric and Jenny Semmler have been involved in the wine industry since 1986, and share a passion for the fortified wines of Australia.
Eric previously made fortified wines for Hardy Wine Company at Berri Estates, and worked at Brown Brothers in Malawa. Jenny has worked for Strathbogie Vineyards, Pennyweight Wines, St Huberts and Constellation Wines.
