Barossa Valley Estate, located in the Barossa Valley town of Marananga, was formed in 1984 by 80 third and fourth generation South Australian grape growers who formed a co-operative and began producing their own wine. Combining their skills and blending their grapes from across the Barossa Valley, their wines are made in the reflection of the world-famous E&E Black Pepper Shiraz. Crafted from 100% Barossa Valley fruit, Barossa Valley Estate wines aim to highlight the true expression of the richness and character of the region.
It is now jointly owned by Constellation Wines Australia and Barossa Growers Holdings Ltd.
