Nestled in the heart of Coonawarra, South Australia, just 6 kilometres north of the township of Penola, a warm welcome awaits all wine lovers.
Katnook is an aboriginal word meaning "Fat Land" referring to Coonawarra's red, fertile soil known today as "terra rossa".
Viticulturist Chris Brodie and Winemaker Wayne Stehbens together grow and craft wines under the Katnook Estate, Katnook Founder's Block, Riddoch and Faldo brands.
Katnook Estate winery processes 3 900 tonnes each year, producing around 21 000 cases under the Katnook Estate label, 16 000 under the Riddoch label and 40 000 under the Katnook Founder's Block label.
