Remarkable View Wines Cellar is situated approximately 260 km North of Adelaide on the Main North Road between Wirrabara and Melrose, at Murray Town in South Australia's Southern Flinders Ranges.
Officially opened 26th October 2003 in conjunction with the launch of the Geographic Indications Region 'Southern Flinders Ranges' the Remarkable View cellar door is open 11:00 am to 4:30 pm on Weekends and Public Holidays.
The vineyard established by Malcolm and Karen Orrock and family is the only commercial vineyard in the hundred of Booleroo in the high country of the Southern Flinders Ranges.
Canola and Peas between the Grapevines.Located on the water catchment divide between Willochra catchment where the surface water drains to the North and the Broughton catchment that drains to the South.
The farm where the vineyard is established was bought in 1910 by Grandfather Oscar Reichstein as the first block at auction of the Wirrabara Estate (Station).
Wheat, Barley, Canola, Peas, Export Hay and Sheep Feedlots are still farmed in conjunction with the vines.
