Nestled in the heart of Coonawarra is the famous three-gabled Wynns Coonawarra Estate winery, 400km south east of Adelaide, South Australia. The oldest operating winery in the region, today visitors are invited to enjoy a tasting of current and back vintage wines in a world-class tasting facility. Time spent at Wynns Coonawarra Estate leaves visitors with a powerful and lasting impression of Coonawarra.
The Cellar Door offers tastings of current release wines along with a back vintage or two. An extensive offering of hard to find back vintage wines and magnums on sale make a visit to the Cellar Door a must. They also offer cheese platters and wine by the glass, so you can sit back and enjoy the surrounds of the historic Wynns building.
Groups are welcome by prior arrangement. Groups of 10 people or more are asked to participate in a Hosted Private Tasting for a nominal fee, that ensures groups are hosted by a dedicated cellar door assistant, recounting a history of Wynns Coonawarra Estate, a complete tasting of the Wynns premium range of wines, cheese platters for the group and special pricing on all purchases.
