Fontill, near Lemont in the midlands of Southern Tasmania, is the family farm of the Harvey sisters, Di, Susan, Rose and Patsy. Originally (and still) a superfine wool property, is has now been extensively and lovingly restored.
Accommodation is available in the Georgian sandstone mansion, or in farm or settlers' cabins. Lots of activities including horse riding, shearing demonstrations, and nocturnal and ghost tours. Functions held in the very atmospheric shearing shed.
Well worth a visit.
