The Richmond Wine Centre is located in the heart of the historic village of Richmond in the Coal River Valley, Southern Tasmania.
Despite its name, it is more of a casual restaurant - open all day - than a wine bar, and is famous for its cakes and teas. Well-priced meals are also available - indoors in the smaller restaurants, or on a good day, outdoors under the trees, featuring local produce including fish.
A good range of wines from the Coal River Valley and elsewhere in Southern Tasmania is available, including Hood Wines, Stoney Vineyard, Pooley Wines, Craigow, Bream Creek and others.
There is a permanent marquee for functions and weddings.
