Campania Hills Vineyard (formerly called Colmaur) lies in the Coal River Valley of Southern Tasmania. Wines are made by Winemaking Tasmania and Anton Kunz.
Campania Hills is owned and operated by Jeanette and Lindsay Kingston
and is situated at Campania in the Coal River Valley, one of the premier
wine growing areas of Tasmania. Campania is more often than not the
hottest place in Tasmania and is around 30 minutes from Hobart in a
North Easterly direction.
Olive Grove on site.
Campania Hills began life as ‘Colmaur' in 1995 under the tutelage of Colin
and Maureen Fogarty, hence the property's first name ‘Colmaur”. Colin
and Maureen laid very solid foundations for those who were to follow
them. This transpired in Sept of 2004 when the Fogarty's were forced to
sell the property due to the fact that Colin had hurt himself in an accident
and the property was becoming a bit difficult to manage.
