Sunset Beach Cabins offers holiday accommodation on the Forestier Peninsula in southeast Tasmania. The cabins are located at Murdunna, three kilometres south of Dunalley on the Arthur Highway.
There are six, two-bedroom ensuite cabins to choose from. Each cabin has a queen size bed in the main bedroom, with one or two single beds in the second bedroom. Fold-up beds are available for additional guests. All linen is supplied and there are provisions for a light Continental breakfast. Other facilities include a barbecue and picnic area and guest laundry.
Sunset Beach Cabins is right on the beach, with views northwest over Norfolk Bay to Mount Wellington. Local activities on the Forestier and Tasman Peninsulas include coastal walks, bushwalks, cruises and boating, scuba diving, fishing, and forest drives. The area has spectacular coastal scenery including 300 metre-high sea cliffs, the highest in Australia. There is also a rich, local convict history; the Port Arthur Historic Site is a forty-kilometre drive south.
