Milton Vineyard is located in Swansea on the East Coast of Tasmania.
The property was first farmed in 1826, initially for fine Tasmanian wool but now produces some of the state's best cool climate wines. The vineyard has a unique micro-climate that suits the ancient grape Pinot Noir but there are also plantings of the aromatics Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer.
Milton's focus is on producing small quantities of handmade wine - the fruit is hand-picked from mid-April then made into wine by award-winning contract winemakers Julian Alcorso, John Schuts, and Greer Carland at Winemaking Tasmania
