The Taste of the Tamar has been an annual event in Launceston for the past 4 years, that celebrates the premium cool climate wines and regional produce from the Tamar Valley, Tasmania.
Using the Tamar Valley Wine Route map as a guide, visitors can travel under the one roof from cellar door to local producer, tasting, purchasing, gathering and learning about the unique Tamar Valley
Visitors purchase an entry ticket that provides them with a souvenir tasting glass and tasting booklet. They are then free to wander through the venue, sampling the produce, and meeting the people behind the produce, face to face.
In 2012 their will be some changes to the Taste of the Tamar so check back closer to the event for more details.
