Walk to tennis, shops, supermarket and restaurants. Fish on the nearby beaches or from the rocks, boat, sail, walk along the beautiful coastline or Waverley Flora Park up the hill, cook your fish on the barbecues behind the dunes or drive three minutes to the public golf course and major shopping centre of Eastlands. Tasmania's international cricket ground and the Kangaroo Bluff Historic Fort are also close by.
There's a fresh fish punt and ferry at Bellerive wharf just over a kilometre away. Catch a ferry from Bellerive wharf to Hobart's waterfront where you can easily spend the day strolling around the galleries, craft shops and restaurants in Salamanca Place and visit tTasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and the Maritime Museum.
