The annual Mid-Summer Sing workshop started several years ago, as a way for the members of the Sing For Your Life! Choir to get together during the summer and kickstart a new year of singing. These days it's a public workshop for singers of all levels of experience (including beginners!), and all are welcome - it's a great chance to sing in a supportive, friendly environment, and if you like the workshop, you're welcome to join the SFYL! Choir when sessions start up in mid-February.
The workshop will feature a cappella songs in three and four part harmony - it's a great way to try out being in a choir for a day.
Male and female singers of all ages are welcome - a minimum age of 10 years is recommended but younger singers who are keen to participate will also be welcomed to the group.
The Picnic will be at the Rotary Park next to Bellerive Beach (next to the cricket oval, at the end of Queen Street)
BYO all picnic supplies - or cross the road for great fish and chips!
Don't forget picnic rugs, folding chairs, sunscreen and hats.
