Wine Tasmania

Wine Tasmania is the peak body representing the island's grape growers and winemakers - working together to promote Tasmania as a benchmark wine region of world renown

Wine Tasmania warmly invites you to its inaugural two-day conference to be held on Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th June at the C3 Convention Centre in Anglesea Street, South Hobart.

Comprising plenary presentations, interactive workshops and benchmark wine tastings, “Building the thirst for Tasmanian wine” will focus on key opportunities for Tasmania and its wine producers.

Highlights of the conference include a presentation by wine commentator Tony Keys, presentations and workshops on the Tasmanian wine market and brand, Restaurant Australia, tourism, digital marketing, distributor arrangements and direct to consumer marketing. Technical presentations include recent grape and wine research, leveraging SenseT and priorities for quality, with several tasting-based workshops.

The conference dinner, on the evening of 3rd June, will be a celebration of the Tasmanian wine sector, showcasing fresh Tasmanian produce and wines in the majestic Jones & Co Room at The Henry Jones Art Hotel in Hobart. ABC’s Ryk Goddard will host this relaxed and enjoyable affair. Friends and supporters of the Tasmanian wine sector are invited to join wine producers at this dinner.

This is an outstanding opportunity for wine businesses and supporters to get together and discuss opportunities and challenges facing the Tasmanian wine sector and ways we can collaborate to grow and build the interest and demand for our premium wines.
