Don Camillo, located in the heart of Sandy Bay is Hobart's very first Italian restaurant, an institution known far and wide in Southern Tasmania.
Don Camillo's has been serving great Italian food for over fifty years. The Don's doors have stayed open because the traditions initiated by the iconic Italian Chef and local character, Bertie Tucceri remain to this day.
Great traditional Italian food, friendly, professional service, with all pasta made in house. The hand made potato gnocchi is unrivalled and the sauces never fail to please.
Daily specials pay homage to some of the Don's earlier gastronomic creations- such as duck, goat and rabbit - all done the old Italian way. Don Camillo's has served generations of happy customers and will win over every Italophile's tastebuds. Buon Apetito.
