Herbaceous Tours cater for all who are passionate about food and wine in Tasmania.
Do you want to know the food sources, how it was cultivated and produced? Then a Herbaceous Tour is for you. Herbaceous Tours take you through the farm gate and allow you to interact with a diverse group of farmers, providores and producers of Tasmanian food and wines. Most of the facilities visited are working farms that do not normally cater for tourists. This ensures that each participant is sure to enjoy a genuinely unique experience of Tasmania.
Herbaceous Tours are fortunate to be working with a diverse range of producers such as goat cheese, sheep cheese, saffron, water buffalo, organic beef, fruit wines and olive oil to name a few. The providores and farmers will explain the many wonderful and interesting processes surrounding their respective products during the tours.
