Tours are currently available in the Richmond/Cambridge, Huon Valley/Channel, Bruny Island, South East Coast/Peninsula and Hobart regions of Tasmania
Herbaceous Tours are very special, as they take you 'through' the Farm gate and allow you to interact with a diverse group of farmers, providores, and producers of a wide variety of Tasmanian food and wine products.
Most of the facilities you will be visiting on Herbaceous Tours are working farms and producers who do not normally cater for tourists. This ensures that each participant of a Herbaceous Tour is sure to enjoy a genuinely unique experience of Tasmania.
Herbaceous Tours work with a diverse group of producers, such as goat cheese, saffron, sheep cheese, water buffalo, organic beef, fruit wines and olive oil, to mention but a few.
In addition to visiting the various farms and production facilities, the providores, producers and farmers will explain the many wonderful and interesting processes surrounding their respective products.
