The vineyard was recently purchased by Ryan Hartshorn, his sister Nicole Gilliver and their parents and was previously known as 2BudSpur. It has been renamed Grandview Vineyard to connect it with the family's other organic vineyard in Birchs Bay in the same southern wine region.
The home vineyard is certified organic and the new vineyard will be converted over the next few years as well. The family is well known in Tasmania for sheep milking and the production of gourmet sheep cheese. With their two vineyards they intend to establish their own organic winery within the next few years.
Grape varieties and wines produced: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, Gamay
Production: 10 tonne.
