Brookfield Vineyard, in Margate south of Hobart, in the Channel and Huon wine region of Southern Tasmania, has been growing pinot noir and chardonnay grapes since 1992.
It was managed by Crosswinds Vineyard in the 1990s but is now run by the owners, the Lindsay family.
The cafe and retail shop is housed in an historic shed built in the 1940s originally for a flower and vegetable seed collection. It was later used for hops and for apples by Henry Jones and Co. Whilst it was being restored for its present use, the shed was used by local artists as a studio.
