The Red Feather Inn, located in Hadspen, Northern Tasmania, is a charming collection of historic sandstone buildings built by colonial Georgian architect John Sprunt with convict labour circa 1842. The Red Feather Cooking School has been created as an added dimension to the Red Feather Inn Boutique Accommodation.
Owner Lydia Nettlefold, and visiting guest chefs plan to share their wealth of knowledge, passion of good food, cooking and Tasmanian produce with you. At the Red Feather Inn they believe that a shared table with fine food, wine and conversation is one of life's greatest pleasures. From 'back to basics' through to 'celebrer le cochon' the Red Feather Cooking and Lifestyle School aims to help you extend your culinary boundaries, whilst having an entertaining and enjoyable break in the company of like minded people.
Combined with the nearby heritage farm 'Haggerstone', their country vegetable garden and unique luxury boutique accommodation, the Red Feather Inn is an experience to savour.
