Just along the road from Sharmans you will receive a similarly warm welcome at Bundaleera from owners David and Jan Jenkinson. Riesling, pinot noir and chardonnay all grow in a sheltered grove on the same north-east facing hillside, just along from their tasting room. More plantings are likely on other blocks on the 12 hectare property.

Davis also has high hopes for a sparkling wine which is soon to be bottled. All wines in Bundaleera’s short life have been made at Rosevears Estate, the last few by Andrew Pirie. Fruit from Relbia is highly regarded throughout the state, and once Jan pours you a Bundaleera pinot or riesling with a couple of years bottle age, you will appreciate the pristine cool climate flavours this area can produce.
