Elvstan Cottages provide self contained accommodation in Whitemark, Flinders Island off Tasmanias north east coast.
Enjoy vistas over the offshore islands from your cottage.
Each of the two renovated two bedroom cottages is able to sleep up to 5 people and is equally suitable for couples, families or larger groups travelling together. Everything is provided in this beach getaway, including a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washing machine.
The cheerful blue and yellow colour scheme reflects the beach setting and a well-stocked book shelf gives an insight into island life. With everything provided, you just need to buy your provisions from the well-stocked local stores and make use of the picnic items provided to get out and about and make the most of the beautiful scenery and beaches.
Use the cottage as your base to explore the island and engage in activities such as bush and beach walking, swimming, fishing, bird watching, studying the fascinating history and find out about "island life" from your host, a third generation islander.
Flinders Island is approximately a 30 minute flight from Launceston.
