The Gladstone Hotel is located in a sleepy country town in the heart of north-east Tasmania, close to swimming, surfing and fishing, beautiful white beaches, bushwalks and wildlife at Mt William National Park, and along the other unspoilt bays and beaches. There are very few towns in this corner of Tasmania, so you wont see many people except at the rough camping areas near favourite fishing spots.
There are many interesting geological formations in the Gladstone-South Mt. Cameron area and this is a favoured spot for lapidarists.
Enjoy peace and quiet and the mild climate.
