Mountford Granary Art School is located just outside Longford in Northern Tasmania. It is set in the grounds of an historic farming property (circa 1832) which is listed with the National Trust.
For nearly twenty years, Mountford Art School has been attracting artists and art students from around the world. They come to be inspired by the Mountford environment of a Regency homestead, superb landscape and heritage out-buildings including the 1850's Granary Studio.
Classes and workshops are available for all levels catering for those who have never painted to well established artists. Tasmania's weather is at its most beautiful in Autumn and Spring so classes are generally concentrated in these seasons to make the most of the landscape.
The Mountford Granary Art School provides professional instruction and a structured approach that will assist any aspiring painter towards their dream.
