Clover Hill Vineyard, along with Lally Gully Vineyard, belongs to Taltarni and is located in Lebrina in the Pipers River wine region of Northern Tasmania.
Clover Hill was established in 1986 primarily for producing sparkling wine varieties - chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot Meunier - and it now produces some Tasmania's best.
The 66 hectare property has views to Bass Strait and a similar climate to the Champagne region of France. Vines are close spaced and planted on deep, red volcanic soil in a frost-free amphitheatre, orientated N-S to maximise sunlight exposure.
The cellar door is open daily (Sept to June) for tasting and sales of Clover Hill and Lalla Gully wines. Tours of the vineyard are available by booking ahead.
