Craigie Knowe Vineyard was established in 1979 by then Hobart dentist John Austwick. John lovingly planted the vines across 5 Ha making his wine on site until he made the difficult decision to sell his beloved vineyard in 2009.

The new owner extensively renovated the vineyard, installing frost protection and renewing the trellis system. The beautiful 1830's cottage was also renovated. Only two vintages were produced by this new owner leaving the vines unattended during 2011 and 2012. Glenn and Sandy purchased the vineyard in 2013, and like John, love Craigie with the same passion and enthusiasm John had...his legacy continues.

We, along with our son Alex, have worked hard to bring the vineyard back to health and vitality. Our wine is now made off site, allowing us to concentrate on our vines so we can bring you the best wine possible.

We are proud and excited to finally be presenting our gorgeous wines.
