Holm Oak Vineyards and Winery is located at Rowella in the picturesque Tamar Valley wine region along the banks of the Tamar River, Northern Tasmania, north of Launceston.
Holm Oak Vineyards has 6 ha of vineyards with plantings of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Arneis, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
The Tamar Valley vineyard is family owned and managed by winemaker Rebecca Wilson and viticulturalist Tim Duffy. Holm Oak Vineyards is one of the few family owned wine businesses in Tasmania where wine is produced on site.
Rebecca Wilson is a qualified winemaker and Holm Oak is one of the few smaller family owned wineries who produce and make their own wines on site. This allows for greater individuality of the wines as Rebecca has full control of the wines from the vineyard through to the bottle. The individual attention that she is able to devote to each parcel of fruit ensures that each wine has its own unique personality.
