Tasting notes - Leaning Church (Tas)
Leaning Church Vineyard is located at Lalla, near Launceston in Tasmania's north east. Complete with 97 year old church the vineyard complex not only offers their wines but also a whisky tasting, food and art with a superb outlook.
At Leaning Church Vineyard, they believe no one should be intimidated when tasting wines. That’s why they had a few too many one night and came up with the following descriptions that beautifully describe the sensations they experienced while sipping each of the wines... They hope you enjoy their wines as much as they do!
2009 Leaning Church Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
As startling as dipping your private bits in icy water. A guaranteed blast of freshness and fruit to take your breath away.
2008 Leaning Church Vineyard Chardonnay
A decadent dally into a divine dinner of sizzling buttered scallops, sticky date pudding and lashings of caramel sauce. A chardonnay as impressive as the Statue of David.
2008 Leaning Church Vineyard Pinot Noir
Drink now and enjoy the excitement of a virgin on prom night. Or cellar for a few years for the anticipation of an experienced luscious lover.
2008 Leaning Church Vineyard Merlot Cabernet
Perfect addition for those sleepy nights lazing naked on a thick shagpile rug in front of an open fire while eating chocolate-coated plums.
