Kentisbury Country House is a stylish, self-contained holiday house near Sheffield in Tasmania's north west.
Relax and retreat in the Tasmanian countryside in this house which is exclusively yours.
The European-style house is tastefully decorated and available for romantic escapes for a couple, but can sleep up to eight. The house features three large bedrooms - two queen, one double, plus a double sofa bed. There are two living areas, one is a rotunda room with 360 degree views. The large bathroom upstairs has an antique claw-foot bath; the second bathroom has laundry facilities.
A large deck overlooks tranquil fields towards Lake Barrington and has a cast-iron chimney, wonderful for a barbeque. Enjoy preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and dine at the dining table or the outdoor tables and chairs.
Our organic seasonal fruit and vegetable garden is available for you to plunder.
The house is solar powered and solar passively designed. Guest amenities are organic and locally sourced where possible.
The house is ideally situated to explore Cradle Mountain, Mole Creek Caves, Mount Roland and the surrounding scenic area. Sheffield is a 10 minute drive away.
West Kentish is 35 minutes' drive (32 kilometres/20 miles) south of Devonport.
