Platypus Valley is Swiss inspired bed and breakfast accommodation located near Sheffield, Town of Murals. Just around the corner is the beautiful Lake Barrrington. Privacy is always assured at Platypus Valley as we ensure that we only book one group of guests at a time.
While you enjoy a delicious country style breakfast you can observe the platypus play for hours of entertainment.
The bed and breakfast features two bedrooms (one queen and one double) and a fully modern bathroom with spa (hairdryer provided).
Guests may curl up in their own lounge room equipped with television, DVD and stereo CD player.
You will find a wood fire as well as electric heating throughout and all beds are fitted with electric blankets for extra warmth.
Covered verandas with outdoor settings and a daybed are there for your relaxation. Iron and ironing board is available for use along with general laundry facilities.
Platypus Valley is conveniently located at the gateway to the Cradle Mountain National Park, Lakes District, World Heritage Area, northwest coast, Mole Creek Caves and only three minutes drive away to Lake Barrington (renown for fantastic freshwater fishing).
Guests may visit local vineyards or walk the bush tracks of Mount Roland.
