Southern Sky Holiday Unit offers self-contained accommodation at Currie on King Island.
The unit accommodates four guests and has full cooking, laundry and barbeque facilities.
Currie is a small seaside town with a sheltered harbour. Fishing gear is supplied so try your luck in the clear blue waters around the island. Walk along lonely beaches, swim, surf and boat. See if you can catch a succulent crayfish while snorkelling. Watch out for the abundant wildlife in the bush covering half the island. Fairy penguins come ashore at dusk at Grassy.
The mild climate, pure air and reliable rainfall produce lush green pastures - superb beef, seafood, game and dairy products are island specialties. Sample King Island Dairies first-class cheeses and cream so thick it stands up by itself! The cheese factory and tasting room are near your comfortable accommodation.
