Tranquilles Art Gallery is located within the Tranquilles Bed and Breakfast at Port Sorell, northern Tasmania. Port Sorell is 15-minutes east of Devonport (19 kilometres/12 miles) and an 80 minutes north-west of Launceston (111 kilometres/69 miles).
Tranquilles Art Gallery features work by Tasmanian artists in a series of ongoing exhibitions. Work is displayed in two gallery spaces, in the reception area, and on the walls of the property's Quills Cafe.
There are a number of galleries and museums in Tasmania's north. You can visit the Devonport Regional Art Gallery, or travel south to Sheffield to see the town's famous public murals. In Launceston, you can visit a number of fine galleries including the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, and world-renowned Design Centre of Tasmania.
